__Attention Parents: Announcing. . .
ALL DAY KINDERGARTEN FOR ALL STUDENTS IS COMING TO BEDFORD NEXT YEAR!
_
It’s time to round up all our new Kindergartners for the 2012-2013 school year. We are pleased that more students will enjoy all day kindergarten. We are glad we no longer need to have a lottery to determine who can be in the all day setting. This switch to full day kindergarten becomes an exciting opportunity to expand the educational offerings for our kindergarten students. Our teachers are excited about using the extra time to have more hands-on instruction and activities to make the learning even more fun and engaging for the students.
HOW TO REGISTER
Information will be mailed to all of the homes in Bedford soon with details about the documents you will need to complete the registration. Registration packets can also be picked up in our office, at the administration building, or you may refer to the Bedford Public School District’s website at: http://www.bedford.k12.mi.us/registration.html. In order to register for kindergarten, a child must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2012.
YOUNG FIVES
The district will continue to offer half-day sections of the Young Fives program for children with birthdays from August to December 1, 2012 and who are qualified based on Gesell test results. Call the Instruction & Student Services Office at 734-850-6028 for more details.
Please help spread the word to any families who may not be currently connected to our school. There are so many reasons that we are proud of our school and trust that every one of our future students will be a wonderful addition to the school family.
